Offshore Energy is one of the fastest growing gatherings of offshore industry professionals. The two-day event takes place on October 13 and 14 in the Amsterdam Rai. For the first time T&A Survey will be exhibiting showcasing its offshore services. Projects involving the seabed carry the risk of encountering unexploded ordnance (UXO) from World War II. In suspect areas it is therefore necessary to carry out an offshore UXO survey.
T&A Survey performs offshore UXO surveys from a ship using an ROV and/or AUV and several measuring techniques. Our UXO experts start with the data analysis on board. By combining all measurement results, suspect objects can be located with great accuracy. Based on the outcome the activities can be relocated or objects can be identified and removed.
T&A Survey has its own team of specialized ex-marine UXO experts and certified divers. T&A’s UXO divers are able to identify and secure UXO’s on the spot. The UXO survey can also be combined with archaeological investigation or the mapping of cables. This way extra expenses due to stagnation of the project can be significantly reduced.
