Since the first aquatic soil investigations in the last century, T&A has grown into a specialist in aquatic soil investigations. T&A maps obstacles and water bottom structure and where necessary the divers from T&A go into the water together with those from Baars-Cipro to identify objects. Often in the context of explosives research.
What is less known is that since 2016 T&A also carries out nearshore and offshore surveys every year with multibeam, side scan sonar (sss), magnetometers and sub-bottom profiler to map the seabed, sometimes up to tens of meters deep. We do this directly and indirectly for various clients such as TenneT, BritNed and Rijkswaterstaat. The data acquisition and analysis for both bathymetric and criminal investigations is carried out entirely by the specialists of T&A.
