In order to be able to detect relatively deep-lying objects even more accurately, T&A is working on an induction technique that works with electrodes, as used in classical geo-electrical measurements, instead of coils.
Detection at greater depths
With these electrodes more current and power can be sent into the ground, so that objects, such as possible UXO, can be detected at greater depths. In certain projects this technique could be an alternative to the more time-intensive Magnetometer CPT.
